Color Match - Chandler Kieschnick

to create this work of art i had to select the plum colored shirt and then select a big chunk of the blue shirt and then i had to use the color match tool to change the color of the plum shirt to the blue color of the second shirt. then i adjusted the color slightly to make it a darker blue color and noowwwwww we have my shirt that im gonna go buy.

To create this all i did was add in extra brush tools and use them on the layer mask of the background color.

to create this ipod effect i created a solid color fill to the picture of me and made the background a solid color as well then to create a shadow i duplicated the picture of me and created a layer mask and used the gradient tool to create a shadow affect then i inserted the ipod and drew in the headphones with the pen tool.

Scenery - Chandler Kieschnick

To Create this project i used the different layer masks again to hide and show different objects. i also used different adjustments to each layer to make distinct details. I inverted some of the masks and put them on some of the layers to change the look of the shapes. and i also lowered the opacity to create an eye catching effect.

Cranes - Chandler Kieschnick

For my cranes project i used multiple layer masks and vector masks to create half of my flower shapes see through in areas so that you could see the picture below them and so that you could see part of them as a picture pattern. then i used the custom shape tool to create more flowers to go around the border.

Motorcylce - Chandler Kieschnick

For this project i used two pictures one of a speedometer and one of a motorcylce and again put them on two different layers and used the layer mask skill to make a gradiented version of the speedometer to make it more interesting and to make it even more interesting i made the bike layer black and white but kept the speedometer in color.

for this montage i did i used the layer masks concept to put multiple pictures on different layers and masking the outer negative space of the picture with white or black to create an almost invisible area for the picture below to show through.

Basic Lesson: Chandler Kieschnick

To make this i used about 8 different layers to make it work so that everything would be able to be changed individually instead of changing the whole canvas. I used these pictures of birds and used the magnetic lasso tool to cut them out as close as i could then i went back and hand did the leftover pieces with the regular lasso tool using the add and subtract to figure features.
